Abstract: Lasers are widely used in the modern medicine as important parts of different types of equipment. Laser beams of different powers, wavelengths and optical properties are used in surgery, cosmetology, therapy, diagnostics and number of other medical areas. The present study aims to evaluate the effects of diode laser with wavelength 532 nm on blood optical absorbance property and complete blood count (CBC). The irradiated and non irradiated whole blood, plasma and blood cells samples were characterized by UV–Vis spectroscopy and CBC measurements. The irradiated blood cells samples reveals degradation in the beak of 541.15 nm in their absorbance spectra, the irradiated plasma samples reveals degradation of long-term condition cells (LTCs) with λ max= 414.32 nm in their absorbance spectra. While the results of the effect of laser irradiation on CBC showed that the best laser dose has a positive effect on almost all blood cells and their indicators are approximately 30 minutes as white blood cells, red blood cells and haemoglobin and mean cell volume.
