dc.description.abstractApreliminary surveillance was conducted for investigation of internal parasites of the lion( panthera leo). The methods used were direct smear and floatation tests of the faecal material of the lion Both methods revealed that the order of parasitic prevalence was:coccidia sp(50% ); Echinococcus sp( 30%) ;Parascaris sp(20%). There was an adult parasite recoverd ( Ascaris sp)in number of (4),and seudoparasites plant hairs(3)en_US
