Abstract: In this work, a measurement of the concentration for (Albumin, Urea, Phosphorous, Calcium, and Total protein.) in human blood is obtained using the He-Ne laser and compared to results that achieved by the conventional Spectrophotometric methods . To ensure the possibility of absorbing the wavelength 632.8nm by the mentioned blood components, a spectral analysis was done with 1240 UV-Vis Spectrophotometer. The results showed absorbing peaks in the range (600-700)nm, thus a laser system consist of He-Ne laser (with power 1mW, and wavelength 632.8nm, sample chamber, Quartz cuvett, and detection element (Photomultiplier tube) joined with digital multimeter was prepared to measure the concentrations.) The tested samples were prepared in the laboratory, its concentration is measured by the laser system immediately within its colored stability period after the measurement that done by spectrophotometer. A comparison between the concentrations obtained by the two methods was done statistically by calculating the linear correlation coefficient and plotting the standard curves between absorbance and concentration. The compared results showed the possibility of determining the concentrations of (Albumin, Urea, Phosphorous, Calcium, and Total Protein); by using the He-Ne laser absorption spectroscopy technique with high accuracy and least cost from that determined by the Spectrophotometer.
