dc.description.abstractCheck fraud is one of the biggest problems facing bank customers, leading to loss of money. The purpose of this research is to solve the problem of cheque fraud by developing an android application that can be uses by the customers to write cheque to another customer who has an account in the same bank and developing server using java servlet to check cheque data. In order to achieve security on the cheque, the public key encryption technology was used to achieve security on E-Cheque. A public and private key was created for the bank and for the customers. When the customer use the application to write a cheque, the cheque data is signed using his private key and encrypt using bank public key, the server decrypts the data using the bank's private key and verifies the signature using the customer public key. The results show that the Cheque cannot be stolen by achieving both authentication, integrity and confidentiality on the Cheque data.en_US
