dc.description.abstract | This investigation was made to determine the coccidial infection in Quails reared on different farms in Khartoum state. In this study 100 samples of Quails were processed by clinical , postmortem and microscopic examination during period from February to may 2017 . Samples were collected from three farms in Khartoum state . Results revealed that 20 samples of Quails were positive . High infection was found in females and young birds . The higher infection rate and intensity Was recorded in small intestine , Microscopic examination showed presence of three type of Eimeria ( E.tsunodai, E.uzura , E.bateri). Clinical examination showed raffled feather , diarrhea , macroscopic lesion of infected birds revealed hemorrhage in intestinal mucosa , gases in ceacal tonsils , enlarge and congested duodenum . | en_US |
