Abstract: A Field experiment was conducted at the Demonstration Farm, College of Agricultural Studies, Sudan University of Science & Technology, Shambat during winter season 2017/2018 to study the effects of organic, inorganic and biofertilizers on the growth and yield of faba bean (Vicia faba L). The treatments of experiment were: organic fertilizers (chicken manure 3.6 ton/ha, compost 15 ton/ha), inorganic fertilizer(phosphorus 0.05 ton/ha TSP), biofertilizer (Rhizobium leguminosarum biovar vicea) and untreated control. Hudaiba-93 released variety of Faba bean was used in the experiment. The treatments were arranged in Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD), with four replications. Parameters studied were: plant height (cm), number of leaves/plant, stem diameter (cm), number of nodules, number of pods/plant, seeds number/pod, yield (ton/ha), hundred seed weight (g) and Nutrient use efficiency was calculated. The results showed significant different in plant height (cm) at 30 days, stem diameter at 30 days, number of leaves/plant at two count, number of nodules, number of pods/plant, number of seeds/pod and yield ton/ha, and no significant different in plant height (cm) (at 60,90 days), stem diameter (cm) (at 60 days), and hundred seed weight (g). Organic fertilizers gave a good results in comparison with the other fertilizers and control.
