Abstract:	The experminent was carried out in the laboratory of insects and agricultural zoology at the faculty of agricultural studies at the university of sudan for science and technology to evaluate the deadly effect of the water extract of the leaves of the arak plant against the mealy bugs which gave the death rate compared to the witness after 24-48-72-hours of treatment and the last reading after a week of treatment.
