The current study aims at investigating the stylistic features of scientific English. An analytic, descriptive research design was adopted. The qualitative data were collected from the British National Corpus where 11 files associated with scientific English were generated. The findings have indicated that the scientific English is associated with some stylistic features such as the use of the present simple, the passive, the prefixes and suffixes. The findings have also revealed the frequent use of abstract nouns and numerical expressions in scientific English which seem to be free from personalized expressions.en_US
