dc.description.abstractThis study was done in period between 2007 and 2009. To determine the incidence of first trimester failure in Pakistan by ultrasound modality. In this study hundred patients from different regions of Pakistan presented for obstetrical ultrasound with pregnancy combined with pregnancy complication such as vaginal bleeding, pelvic pain, and pass of clots of consumptions. The result of this study as following: incomplete abortion 32% Complete abortion 22% Threatened abortion 12% Missed abortion 14% In evitable abortion 8% Blighted ovum 7% Ectopic pregnancy is consider the main cause of maternal death in first trimester, unfortunately no significant clinical symptoms and sonographic appearance Urine pregnancy test is useful and helping first trimester sonographic.en_US
