dc.description.abstractThe aim of this study is to investigate the lexical errors and their effect on university students’ written performance. The researcher used the descriptive analytical approach. Data has been collected through a questionnaire for university English language teachers, and a composition test for the university students from different English departments. The findings showed that university students make lexical because of many factors chief among them is the interference of the mother tongue.en_US
