Abstract: During the current study, the seasonal variation in the avifauna of Jabal Awliya (khazzan, Forest (acacia nilotica) has been investigated. The bird in the site was observed in the period between (May-September 2016). Overall 18 bird species were observed in the study area . From which 11 species in dry season,7 species in wet season. The study demonstrated the occumence of seasonal diversity. The literature review reveals that there is a real need for more research on avifauna of Sudan. The equipments were used during the survey for recording and estimating bird species were Binoculars and field guide at Jabal Awliya. The result of the survey recorded birds species in dry season , and wet season. In dry season four species recorded in wet season seven species recorder. The study showed seasonal variations in aviafuna at Jabal Awliya . This was to climatic changes and arrival and departure of migrant species.
