dc.description.abstract	The aim of this study to measure of some metals and Phosphorous content in four Sudanese cultivars of dates from (Dongola). The cultivars used were namely Barakawi and Gau (hard type), Qunedil(semi soft) and Bit Tamoda (soft).The samples were taken randomly. Calcium and Potassium contents were measured by Flame Photometr.Magnesium and Iron contents were measured by Atomic Absorption Spectrophotomter.Phosphorus content was measured by UV- Visible Spectrophotometer. The results obtained were as Calcium content (9.79 to 16.87mg/100g), Potassium contents (178.1to 238.62 mg /100g), phosphorous contents (109.0 to 198.0 mg/100g), Magnesium content (49.73 to 134.6 mg/100g) and Iron contents (0.5 to 1.72 mg /100g).	en_US
