Abstract

This research translates parts of the book "The Future of Agricultural Development in Arab Nations up to the year 2000". The book clearly highlights the problem that Arab countries face in food security together with reduction to the half in their self- sufficiency of wheat. The book says that if the Arab countries collaborate, they can control this problem because Arab countries have huge landscape resources that are suitable for planting and that all Arab counties have huge water sources, the extension of Arab countries into multi – environmental belts that enable to produce different agricultural products, besides the large financial surpluses in Arab countries.
