Abstract: The study has been made in the Red Sea area block15 to predict pore pressure of the formation using Eaton method which considered being one of the indirect methods of calculation and estimation of pressure. This method depends on seismic data and well data. The well selected is Talla-1 which located at the coordination of latitude 50’ 18° with longitude of 38° 03’. The well penetrates several formations which are Shagara, Wardan, Zeit and Dungunab formations. After calculation a plot has been created showing the relationship between pore pressure and depth which illustrate an increase of pressure with depth. Although this method provide us with information about the pore pressure but it’s limited by several factors which is the quality of seismic data acquisition and processing also the complexity of subsurface structures.
