dc.description.abstract | The use of geographic information systems in the management of services through the use of digital maps and using special applications to address many of the problems faced by those facilities and make improvements upon to raise the efficiency of its work for the purpose of providing services to the population better, where they can address the Holiday Stretch-electric cables, or address the problem of drinking water in one of the distribution networks, or address the problems in the sewerage network, gas or communications, as well as the distribution network of roads within the city and an integrated database on those roads in terms of capacity and density of traffic and intersections and problems facing the transportation within the city, and other areas related to the management of facilities and structures infrastructure, which can be used geographic information systems to manage and address their problems through holdings of specialized programs in those areas. In this research sewage network management for Al Sunut project ,which is characterized by a critical discharge and thus its near to the Niles Forum( yoke ) , for sensitivity of the place , which is an important commercial area can not be used Artesian Wells in the project every building alone, which led to be used one sewage network for the project and we were used geographic information systems to manage this network . and we were used tools of Arc Catalog software to design network and we were used Arc GIS 9.3 software to analyzed network through spatial analysis tools and equations to obtained the required results, and thus can be consider Al sunut project as solution model for sewerage problem in Khartoum State . | en_US |
