This thesis (Automation for Radio transmission and reception using a computer) describe and introduce a technical method to make and accomplish the issue of automation in details. Also this thesis is make a combination to a little bit different types of field (telecommunication and control) which there is a signal generated by a telecommunication systems (icom HF transceiver) and this signal is purely radio signal (RF) , the second field of electronic engineer applied in this thesis (control) the interface circuit , most of the chips{HD74LS373&ULN2003} used in the design is used in control applications also computer engineer and computer application software and hardware are involve in this thesis .
And the practical part of the system ( interface to computer circuit and software programmed by c++ program ) has been constructed and practically tested .
The evolutionary growth in microprocessor based devices and telecommunication equipment and network have brought the possibility of integrating protection, control, metering, automation and monitoring system cost effectively. This will considerably improve system reliability, quality of supply, and customer service and defer capital investment on system expansion Distribution automation and system monitoring meet the demands and requirements in improving service reliability at a lower cost .and all that make an automation is very important technique in all telecommunication investments today.
