dc.description.abstract |
Ascites is the fluid collection in the peritoneal cavity. The main objective of this study is to evaluate the role of ultrasound in differential diagnosis of different type of ascites.
The study has been carried out during the period from march 2005 to march 2006, in kingdom of Saudi Arabia in king Fahad and Alansar hospital in Madina and Alhaya Almalkia yanbu.
The data and information are collected from the diagnostic reports of ultrasound.
The general result and finding out of this study are the following:-
1- Ultrasound are is important imaging technology for differentiating between different types of ascites.
2- Ultrasound is very informative in demonstrating the cause and site of ascites. |
