Application of Programmable Logic Controller in Juice Production Lines

Abstract

The automation task for the manufacturing and industrial is playing as main role in new manufacturing language. The programmable logic controller evolution has helped the transferring to fully automation phase. By using the PLC, we can achieve the controlling task with proficient advantages. In juice manufacturing production application, the using of the PLC to control the production line will be very useful as the product types and the mix preparing is not fixed for the manufactory. Every day there is new product with new production steps. By using the PLC we can re-adjust the actuators and sensors parameter based on production requirements. In the field visits for juice production manufactories during this research we found that the implementation of the PLC in the juice production lines is gainful in several ways. Siemens PLCs Products is one of the main PLC applied in the automation task. It has different types with different characteristics which is matching the most automation applications.
