dc.description.abstract This study calculated the entrance skin dose (ESD) and effective dose (ED) in simulator during the planning of radiotherapy in three organs, head, chest, and pelvis. the simulator is an instrument that simulate all the movement of radiotherapy machine. In the result of the study, we found that the ESD in simulator at the three organs were: head is 9.15 mGy, chest is 13.19mGy, pelvis is 14.26mGy , and ED also in the three organs were: 0.08mSv, 2.36mSv, 2.27 mSv respectively . We also estimated in this study the ESD to the sensitive organs around the pelvis, chest and head and we found that the average dose to some of these organ like lense of the eye, ovaries and testes were 3.5mGy, 2.8mGy, 9.6mGy respectively . we have seen some variation at the dose deliver to each organ and we think it came from the following purposes: i. the variation of technical factor to each patient. ii. The availability of patient history like x-ray images and so on. iii. The experience of technologist and availability of medical doctor. en_US
