Abstract:
A microcontroller is computer-on-a-chip optimized to control electronic devices. It is a type of microprocessor emphasizing self-sufficiency and cost-effectiveness, in contrast to a general-purpose microprocessor, the kind used in a (PC). Typical microcontrollers contain all memory and I/O interfaces needed where as a general-purpose microprocessor required additional chips to provide these necessary functions. This research describes how the microcontroller controls external peripheral by processing control program, we will write codes to drive stepper motor and control the direction of rotation.
In this research we where write two programs, the first program derive the stepper motor in the clockwise direction and the other one derive the stepper motor in the opposite clockwise direction.
